What's New At The Shed

Well, it’s been pretty busy here at The Shed in the past few months. We’ve had an overwhelming showing of support and it seems folks like what we’re doing with our shop. We’ve had a lot of support from our old friends, and thanks to your referrals, we've met a lot of new ones. Honestly, I’m a little surprised at how many homebrewers there are in the Triad. I’m also happy to add that there are even more GREAT brewers than I suspected!

Thanks to your feedback, we are continuing to add new products and are receiving new items in every day. Our selection of brewing, kegging, and draft equipment is growing. We are continuing to add new hop, yeast, and malt varieties. And, we now exchange out CO2 cylinders.

Another big addition is wine. Big Dan’s is proud to carry Cellar Craft, Heron Bay, and Cheeky Monkey wine kits. These high quality kits will make 6 gallons of your favorite wine. We will also be carrying a full line of bottles, corks, corkers, and equipment to help you make great wine at home. (We’re not changing our name, though; Big Dan’s Chateau du Vin doesn’t have the same ring to it…)

We are here to supply Greensboro, Winston-Salem, High Point, Burlington, Asheboro and surrounding areas with everything you need to make great beer, mead and cider. Our award winning recipes and kits are built on the spot with the freshest ingredients, high quality Briess liquid and dry malt extracts, professional brewery grains, the finest hops, and Wyeast, Fermentis, and Lallemand yeasts. We’re here to help with custom starter equipment kits and easy to follow recipes to make sure you make great beer right off of the bat! In a hurry? Come by, hang out, and talk homebrew with people just as obsessed with homebrewing as you are while we get your ingredients together. Long day at the office/store/plant/bar?
